Betsy's Chocolate chip cookies
1 cube butter
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
(cream above ingredients)
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
(add egg and vanilla to cream mixture)
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
(mix dry ingredients separately then add 1/2 cup at a time to cream mixture)
Add 3/4 package of Ghirardelli chocolate chips. Bake 375 degrees for 7 minutes.

I looked over the recipe and you left out the steps where you are supposed to lick your finger first then dip it in the batter for the taste test (I think that step is supposed to make it taste better, not sure, but I've watched her cook and that is exactly what she does so I think we might want to stick to the recipe with precision).--Ben
